“ My pieces are like little subconscious thoughts that I let out into the world and then move to the next. Most of my pieces are full of symbology from different cultures or from art history. The inspiration behind my work is our experiences as women in western society. Our human nature and symbolism. Many narratives are from my own experience, but I didn’t want to put something out there that’s obvious or brutal, I wanted to create something beautiful out of something ugly, but still give a voice.”
