YOUR GUIDE TO ART
PaintGuide started with one simple goal, to create a forum for creatives from all over the world to share their favourite artists and inspirations with art lovers worldwide.
Every week on Paintguide, an artist opens their "sketchbooks" to the world, where they share their favourite artists and inspirations with fellow art lovers around the world. Because of our unique concept, over 150+ internationally established artists had previously partaken in these takeovers, and successfully produced collaborative projects and generating huge attention worldwide.
Expanding on the artists' inspirations, Paintguide will be offering a more in-depth guide into the art world. Offering a wider conversation scope of artists, shows, theories, market, and interviews with creatives from the whole spectrum (from curators to conservators). Allowing artists and fellow art lovers to know more behind the scenes in the art world and a more transparent engagement to you.
Drawing from our experiences as artists, gallerists, writers and collectors, Paintguide has developed this new streamline for our community of art lovers to engage within this fast-paced evolving art world. Interactions with the artists on Paintguide does not only happen virtually; whilst they share their favourite artists and artwork with you, you can share their passion by standing in front of their artistries in your own home.
This week we are celebrating our collaboration project “1606” with @theplant_space!
To celebrate the launch of this phenomenal project, we asked The Plant’s co-founders, @daniel_martin_art @daannoppen @santiagopani & “1606” 2019 artists @alpay_efe @valteradamcasotto @johnwentz @andrew.salgado.art to talk about their favourite artists and artworks. Discussing everything that has been happening over the past week. From workshops to share their creative processes, the project shaped itself to a new form of artists residencies based @arthouseholland
The Plant was brought to life to connect artists and creatives, so they can share knowledge, create projects and add something new to the current cultural environment. Culture grows because people connect and create together. The Plant has set the goal to enrich artists with a strong international network and provide them with the knowledge to increase their creative abilities.
